Default Accord '93 EX Master Cylinder

Greetings,

I need to replace/rebuilt the master cylinder for my 93 Accord.
Is there any repair kit to rebuilt the master cylinder? any price/good brand suggestions?

I checked with the local Honda dealer and the price for the original master cylinder is very expensive?

I tried the rebuilt once for my old civic and it was leaking after 6 months.

regards,

OldFox

try a local parts store like autozone or something, i paid $65 and my old one at LaCava Bro's and installed it myself, very easy to install ... 2 10mm bolts i believe on the cylinder and juss disconnect the brake lines and watch out for the brake fluid lol or drain it before the process, bleed ur brakes and ur all set

for as critical as the brake master is , i would only use Honda or for non factory brand and save a few $$ i would use ADLER ( oem ) they will last you at least another 10 years , if you got a local BAP store try them..

also there is a write up on our DIY section how to replace master and bleed brakes
