Default aftermarket pistons

Shooting for 400, can i use the stroker pistons on the f22 rods or h22? The 2.3 pistons right?

It’s doesn’t matter if it's a 2.3l it matters what size the piston is. The liters are calculated by stroke and bore. (exp. h22 engine/ 87mm x 90.7 stroke makes it a 2.2l vs. f22 85mm bore x 95mm makes it a 2.2l)
h22 is 87mm bore so no they will not work.

ohh sorry I miss read your last post. Yes you want to use h22 rods...they are much stronger than the f22 one's also. If you want aftermarket eagle makes h22 rods for 325bucks shipped to your door off ebay. Not a bad deal for good set of rods...just make sure they come with ARP rod bolts tho...you don't want to use OEM

Well i guess it just comes down to what pistons will get me to 400 safely and cheapest. I guess i'll start looking on dsm forums too

Also im guessing there is no other oem pistons that are interchangable and withstand 400hp

Not that I know of. Most OEM pistons the ring lands are the weak point. That why when you start adding lots of pressure to each cyl you want to go with something that is stronger. But less than 400buck for JE pistons is pretty cheap..concerting that most aftermarket pistons range in the $500+ area
