Default B series engines

Does anybody know the difference between a b20b2 and a b20z2?In other words can I use a b20b block in a vehicle that came with a b20z? and are the internal engine parts interchangeable? Thanks John

Wouldn't this be better asked in a Civic forum? I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything, but most Accords are F, K, & J series engines so I doubt many people are going to know much about B series on here.

Try www dot hondacivicforum dot com
They seem to be another branch of the same ownership as here.
Still, B20 isn't from a Civic, like you say it's from a CR-V.

B20B and B20Z are very similar, the Z motor has higher comp(9.6) and some other minor differences. The B20B3/B5 are not interchangeable with other B series motors, they are closer to an F/H series in physical size. Hope this helps
