Anyone have a favorite way to remove the 2000 accord oil filter (lays horizontal) to minimize spilling oil all over your arm? I have tried puncturing the oil filter first to drain out as much oil as I can before twisting it off (still leaves quite a bit inside though).

 

i have the exact same car and i bought the oil filter removal thingy... like the cup thing... you get me right? you just put it on the wrench and it helps a bit...
oh, and the SRS light... i removed the cluster and took the bulb out... it's fairly easy...
