I've seen a 10 or so sec 7th gen i think, but it still had a 4cyl. why would you swap in a v8 when you can make the same power with a 4cyl?

i've seen NA 4cyl run mid-high 9s. granted they arent as streetable as a 9sec v8. and carbureted is just a thing of the past

exactly itd be very streetable lol. im just looking for ideas that are different. and carbureted is not a "thing of the past" its a well seasoned technology. besides rice its cheaper cause i already have a motor for this swap. also fuel injection requires computers which id like to get rid of[:@]. just want something fun and different. just a reminder im gatheirng ideas for the future. this would take probly a couple years to do.

yeah it seems like it so far. im thinking maybe an s10 read end, lots of chassis mods, welding, engine compartment mods, transmission mounting, and of course stripping, body work, drive axle customization. its a big project lol

If the Civette is possible, a 351 Miata is possible, a 383 240SX and a Northstar V8 Fiero are possible, why not???

It's possible, but I bet you will have to strip the car down big time and almost start from scratch. Good luck when it comes to ECU issues! But I think it would be really cool.
