camshaft??

does anyone know were i can get a camshaft for my 2002 accord. i have the F23A1 4 cylinder vtec engine?? thanks

there are various websites that do a regrind on the cam, but there are no performance cams made for the general market unless you have them made, and i think its a 600+ price tag on that

ok thanks. one more question. what exactly can u time with the cam gears? and how do u time it?

adjustable cam gears allow you to advance and retard the timing because you can reposition the cam without moving the crank. SOHC engines its to some extent pointless because you dont have the ability to individually adjust/tune the exaust and intake like with a DOHC. Dont get me wrong, you can tune a sohc, its just you have to sacrifice a little on one end to get more on the other
but you really only want to advance or retard the cam 1 or 2 degrees an thats about it
