do they make a egr valve delete kit for the 2.8?

 

What's the year of your car? I'm sure you can find one that will fit on eBay. If not, find a machine shop and they could make one for you.

 

Its a 2000 ex with the 2.8 std this is my first honda I am buying threw private sale It had 2 cells one was the egr valve and the other is emissions leak canister. Another engine was put in but the guy never got the mileage to the engine he called the dealer and they don't have it the car is in just about perfect condition what should I offer for a car worth unknown miles? and I have a ram with the 5.7 and I did the egr delete kit on that and it works great.

 

If it were me I'd take it for a test drive and see if everything was working well then I'd make an offer a bit under the Kelly Blue Book value for say a 130,000mi 2000 EX. I don't trust undocumented engine swaps.

As for the EGR CEL, it's probably just clogged. They aren't too hard to clean out, you can find instructions all over the place for how to get to them and clean them out.
