Default Engine Hestitation

With my 2001 Accord 4-cyl I've started to notice that my vehicle kinda hesitates when I press the gas and at times, the gas pedal is kinda hard to press.. I recently had veh serviced and everything checkout out okay. I had 234,000 miles on it and also had new spark plugs and wires during that service. What can this be? Any help is appreciated..

See if the throttle linkage is getting hung up.

Remove the intake piping and clean out the throttle body with throttle body cleaner and a toothbrush.
