Default Engine idle increase and decrease

I have a 2000 honda accord ex. V6
Car ran great before car broke down on me.
The spark plug blew out.
The porcelain and strap on the porcelain, gone.
I assume all the debris blew out through the valves and used a helicoil kit and installed an insert.

Did a compression test and all cylinders are 120 plus.
Installed new plugs, started car and was running great warming up for a few minutes then the idle starts going up and down.

Seems like when it is supposed to lower idle as it warms up and when it gets to that threshold ,
the rpms go up and down.

I did find a porcelain piece stuck in the egr valve so is it possible it took out the IACV also?
Is there anything else that might cause this?

I experienced two causes for the up/down/up... idle thing on my 2001 V6 Accord; the IACV and/or low coolant levels; both resulted in identical symptoms.

Thanks for the reply. I will check the coolant and if that doesn't fix it, I will replace the IACV.

That was it. Checked coolant level and was good. Cleaned IACV and got it up to normal operating temp. Idles smooth, revs good and no surging.
Thanks for the help.
