I have a 2012 Honda Accord EX-L 3.5L V-6. On cold starts it sounds like a sewing machine for about 3 minutes and then it goes away and I drive it to work with no problems. After it warms up I really don't really hear it unless I'm at the drive through but then it's minimal. I'm thinking it's the VVT since the V-6 has a timing belt and not a chain. I have had the car for a little over 2 months and I changed the oil to make sure it was the right weight oil. What are y'alls thoughts? Thank y'all and God bless. 💀
