Engine Swap 17 Accord Sport
Hey everyone, so I have a 2017 Honda Accord sport I have a CVT 2.4L Transmission. So I was wondering if there is anybody on here knows if it is possible and what I should expect if I wanted to take out my 2.4 L and put in a V-6 from the same year make and model? I found a place that can sell me a V6 engine with like 19,000 miles on it. Ive gotten a few comments from people I have asked but theyve all been on opposite ends of the spectrum and I would like to know if anyone has done it. If so please contact me and let me know appreciate you guys thanks. On a sidenote I would also like to meet some people that live in the SoCal area with passion for their rides.

Yeah but I have a lot of work done with this car so I really cant sell it I got the fenders rolled and I have it lowered and I have a I dont have any of the stock parts so. I just wanted to know how much it would cost or if anybody has done it
Trust me, nobody has done it; not once. Long story short, my bet is at least $5,000 to pull off the swap, and if it ultimately came out to $8,000, I wouldn't be surprised. I still maintain it will be cheaper to simply sell your car, buy one with a V6, and then redo the body work.
OK then what do you suggest I do to make it have more horsepower, That is literally why I want to do this I was thinking maybe a turbo but I dont think she can handle a turbo
The engine should be able to handle a turbo application, but even then, it is going to cost you several thousand (as in three, four, or even five) to do it right
What's your budget? Unless you've got four or five grand to burn on your car (by burn I mean money you'll never see again as you sure won't be getting it out of the car), don't bother, pretty much anything less than that won't yield any meaningful gains.
