Default Engine swap -4 cylinder

I have a 95 Accord wagon LX with the 2.2 . I have access to an 03 4-cylinder Accordmotor and tranny for about $800. Would this be a simple swap or is there other differences that might cause problems. Just don't want to get in over my head. Thanks

Whats wrong with the engine and tranny that its only 800 dollars? Was it from a wreck? Friend? Stolen? These are a few things that you might want to take into account before you even consider trying to get it in your bay. As for will it fit? Maybe, im not sure. But ive got a good idea that no, its not a perfect fit, some customization will be required. Will you be doing the instal? If not you also have to consider the cost for a mechanic to put this engine in.

Not an easy swap at all. I don't even know if it has ever been done before. the engine spins the opposite direction than the one in your car

a engine code would help, but i believe its a K24 engine. which yes its been done, and no its not cheap at all. the motor mounts you would need are about $1000 alone. and it would be a absolute nightmare to wire

k24a4 engines are typically $800. its the diamond in the rough (aka the non-VTEC block)
