i need to find a good reliable place to get a H22A typeS motor out of a 97+ typeS prelude.

 

wha.........? are you talking USDM? there is NO type s prelude. there is however a type sh. still the same engine though, the drivetrain is different.

 

this is a JDM motor!
220 hp
163 ft.
they have red cam cover and they only came in Prelude typeS

ok so i was able find out about this site so far... ill look for a couple others.

never bought one from the site though.....who really knows if its the real thing. the bb6 does have an 11-1 compression though so the specs are correct. if it comes with the correct transmission.....then it has the atts system in it, just like the SH does here. good luck i dont think its worth the money though. just my opinion. for the extra 2000 dollars you could add over a hundred hp with a turbo. theres just so much risk involved with getting one of these jdm motors.....most of them have been pulled out of running cars and have no problems, but it would be just my luck to get one that needs a full rebuild....and its the special pistons cams etc that make it the bb6....and i have no idea on where you could find those again. good luck

lol, u can get it at kingmotorsport i think, if i were u, get the base model and change the internal, much cheaper, while doin the change, u can upgrade and stuff and make it better than the Type S lude
