Default EOC killswitch in an EFI car with a distributor

I'm trying to decide whether to cut ignition or to cut injectors.
On one hand, cutting spark can cause ignition in the tailpipe and cool FLAMES AND BACKFIRING YEAH SUBARU YEAH LAUNCH CONTROL
On the other hand cutting fuel is easier to wire...
Anyone have an opinion on which method to go with?
This is going in my 94 so if anyone has an ECU pinout i'd appreciate it <3
