Hi,
I have been smelling an exhaust or sulphur kind of smell in my car for last couple of months. It’s unique in the sense that I can smell only when I am driving long say more than an hour in a highway. When I am driving inside the town or for a commute which is not more than 30 minutes at one time, I never smell it. Also, I have noticed that I can smell that exhaust when I pass by other cars or big trucks. And also, it’s for couple of seconds about 4-5 secs, and it’s gone and then comes back after an hour or so. I changed my battery thinking that might be an issue but of no help. Talked to oil change service centers and they have no idea on this. Did anyone experience this weird problem? Should I be very concerned and go to Honda service center? Any help would be appreciated.

 

Has your exhaust gotten louder? Might be a manifold gasket leak. I have one and it has that smell sometimes
