Fuel Filter Washer

I have a 1992 Accord---

I am changing the fuel filter.

On the fuel line that goes out of the filter...

are there 2 copper washers or only 1 washer?

If there is only 1 washer, does it go on top or on the bottom of the fuel line?

Thank you.

There are 2 washers, one below the banjo bolt head and one below the fuel line fitting.

good luck

I am confused--

Let's label the fuel lines OK ?

The fuel line going IN the filter, goes in HORIZONTALLY and

the fuel line coming OUT of the filter, comes out VERTICALLY.

We agree on that?

When I took the old filter off, there was NO washer on the fuel line going in-- and

there was ONE washer on the line coming out.

1--How did the Accord come from the factory?

2--How could there be a washer BELOW the fuel line fitting?
(you are talking about the fuel line coming IN the filter--Horizontally--right?)

Don't mean to be a pain---I just want it to be correct.

Thank you.

There are two copper washers. They are both on the outlet fitting. One on top of the banjo fitting and one below it. There are no washers on the line going into the filter.

When you replace them make sure that there isn't one still stuck to the banjo fitting. They have a tendency to stick to the bolt, banjo fitting or filter.
