Default Heavy Steering

At times during parking lot situations and/ or parallel parking the steering is almost inoperable. Like no power steering exists. When I give a little gas its fine. Am I the only one with this problem and what could it be ?

Have you checked the power steering fluid?

Then you might have to measure PS fluid pressure. Maybe pump bypass valve is opening too much?

Ill get that checked. Funny, no extra noise comes out or squeeks. I may just leave it alone

Leaving it alone is a good way to get stranded, or worse - into an accident...

Please rid yourself of this logic.

It's not fine because something is broken. If it were "fine" this thread would not exist.

Non functional power steering will not leave you stranded. Unless you are a total wuss and can't turn the wheel.
