i just put an f22a6 head on my f22b1 block with an h23 manifold, everything wen fine, switched over sensors, got an h series fuel rail and injectors, vacuum lines are hooked up and i have a p12 ecu from a 92 prelude s.
but when i turn the key the cel doesn't turn on and the fuel pump dosent turn on. idk what it could be so any help or suggestions please.

yeah i already replaced that a few months ago, and like i said it worked fine before the swap, so i know its some kind of sensor or something electronic.

does anyone know what sensors determine weather or not fuel gets pumped? i think that would be a good place to start.
and also is the p12 prelude pins and my 94 ex the same on the ecu side, their both obd1 right? it plugs up fine, but im wondering because the cel light came on when i plug the old ecu in.

before this though it did have problems startin, it would take ALOT of cranks to finaly start, could this be a bed fuel pump? it makes the humming when i turn the key but would catch on the first tries, i did the regular tune up and theres spark always so ya.
and it would even sometimes not fire on all cylinders.

i checked my relay and when i turn the key i can hear and feel it clikc when i have my fingers on it. i also checked the fuel pump fuse and its fine. i guess i'll have to pull it and change it....yay

I heard changing the pump isn't too bad.
I need to pull the pump from my donor car before I send it to the scrap yard.
I think I am going to do that today.
Good luck with your problem I am sure you are anxious to try out your new head.

Changing the fuel pump on the 5th gens isnt the best job in the world. The proper way to do it is to drop the fuel tank and take it out.
The alternative, quicker way to do it is to cut a hole in your floor and take it out the top.
