I want more speed. But i dont want a turbo, supercharger,or nitrous. What else can I do to add more HorsePower/Torque. In the next 2 months I am getting an exhaust and intake. OHH yea I have a 2006 Honda Accord LX V6 sedan. Any sugestions would be appreciated

I want to get as close to 300 horsepower as I can.

Swap a tl-s in there. Ha.

But seriously... just going into the mechanics of trying to achieve 300+ HP to the wheels is mine boggling. Might as well go turbo.

if you dont want NOS or FI....bolt ons, bolt ons, bolt ons. get as many as possible. you wont get anywhere near 300 with them alone(sad you cant do headers) but you get more than 244hp. as for speed. if you want more try weight reduction. instead of gaining horsepower your putting less strain on the motor and it can pull faster. engine building is the next but very extensive possibility.

ohh wow i didn't know it was that hard to get an extra 60 horses. Can yall help me decide then I just got my car 2 weeks ago, and I need it to last me for a couple of years, thats why im scared to put a turbo/supercharger on it cuz the last thing I need is my engine to blow or mess up. But I want more speed. So would a turbo kit ora supercharger be better for me. Im trying to stay within $5,000. Im still doing research but any advice would help me a lot. thanks

your not going to get 60hp just from bolt ons. and parts arent all too readily available for that model accord, but you could do a turbo kit for under 5k

Just wondering how much HP these mods would give me
Magnaflow Cat back exhaust
a bigger Throttle body
Spyder Auto headers

Those...20hp maybe?

If you want this car to last a few years and be a daily driver, then you really do not want to build up the engine. Modifying an engine puts more work on it and it becomes less reliable, and is suspectable to more things going wrong. Then gas mileage is going to get worse as well.

My opinion: if you want that burst of speed and dont want to tear the engine apart, get a small dose of nitrous. A 50 shot will be plenty on that J30A4, and you should still be under compression easily.
