I'm thinking about making my 1999 Accord into a type-R but idk that much about these type of things i know i want more HP and Torque. what engine should i use

i want as much Performance as i can
and a engine i can do allot of modding 2

 

Your best bet would be an H22 motor..

 

Good thing they never made an Accord Type-R... makes things easy.

 

I used to believe this, but as of recently I am not so sure, I am starting to think that in Europe there was an actual type-r.

 

It's called the Euro-R.

 

are you sure that that particular model is the Euro R, there are quite a few of that body style(CH chassis I think) for sale under the Type-R name.

Yeah its actually the Mugen Civic Type RR,Mugen has pretty much re-done every honda over in jdm land.

 

Top one looks like the 6th gen EuroR and the lower one is the 5th gen Type-R that was on Top Gear...

EDIT: That black one looks like it has US plates... it must be an imported Torneo EuroR rebadged as an Accord.
