Default imporving power in my 02 l4 accord

Hi,
Ive had my 02 accord for some time and i want to increase the power. I was just curious on some of the best ways to do so without comprising the engine life and also hear what others have done to their cars; maybe something i wouldnt normally find.

Thanks everyone for your comments

let's start with this...what are your power goals and how much money do you have to spend?

Personally I would upgrade your cam with a regrind and a whole new valve train. A good name brand intake AEM/Injen..and a 2.25" mandrel bent exhaust with muffler of choice and also a GOOD exhaust manifold (not the cheepo megan racing or ebay crap. Maybe bisimoto/kidd racing/RMF something worth spending the money on) Then get your ecu chipped to run chrome and get a tune of choice (street tune/dyno tune) Then your engine will really be alive. Delta dose good regrinds on cam shafts for pretty cheap. Like 100bucks plus a core charge for the cam. Unless you can live without your car for a few weeks then you can send them your cam to get worked then you won’t have to pay core charge. Good luck to ya and do some searching are the forums and get ideas for what you would like to do.
