if you swap to a f22a6 mani you will see a small but nice gain since you are allowing more air into the engine
...also if you can find a h23/h22 plenum you can bolt that to you f22a6 runners andhave a bigger TB another small gain but worth doing.

The whole point of that 8-runner thing, is there's actually 2 different-length runners to each cylinder. One long & one short. The F22A1 manifold only has 1 runner to each cylinder.

there are 2 parts to the manifold like the pics I posted. The f22a1 has ONLY ONE SET OF RUNNERS the f22a1 can only be used with itself. It CAN'T be mixed a matched unlike the f22a6.
This are the combos you can do...

f22a6 runners with h22 plenum and TB

f22a6 runners with h23 plenum and TB (h22/23 TB are the same size)

h23 full intake manifold (runners and plenum)

h23 runners with h22 plenum (no point really unless you can’t fine the h23 plenum since the TB are the same size)

h23 runners with f22a6 plenum.

The f22a6 runners are shorter than the h23 runners if I remember correctly or it’s vice versa. But both will yield just about the same power.,
