Default Intercoolers and perfomance gains???

I am wondering if switching from my stock radiator to an intercooler will give me any performance gains on my non-turbo 4 cyl engine. I have read about performance radiators but couldnt find any testimony on performance changes, so i am wondering if adding an intercooler will help me get more out of my engine. Anyone have info????

When the air is compressed by a supercharger or turbocharger, it gets really hot. That's what an intercooler is for. Doesn't do much for a non-turbo engine, since you dont have a compressor on the incoming air.
