Default JDM MOTORS??

Hello everyone,

I heard we can buy JDM motors they are low mileage, replacements at a great price. Anyone buy one that can recommend a place to buy one?

Any issues...I heard that even with the same motor they are a pain to put in due to siring issues.

Thanks for input.

JDM engines are always tricky....you just gotta find the right vendor who will risk it all to ship in the states. Technically, it's customs illegal....but these days there's so many JDM engines running amuck everywhere.

supras are in no way illegal, and there are loop holes to get skylines in.

as for JDM motors, all places claim they have 35,000 miles on the engines, but they are just bulls****ing you, they actually have no idea how many miles are on the engine and have no way of finding out.

hmotorsonline is a reputable place to get a motor from

R32s and R33s can be had for fairly cheap(around 30k). R34s I have seen go for as much as $100,000 tho

keep in mind those are legal ones, not ones that you have to deal with the mexican mafia to get

Yeah, I don't get how Supras are "illegal"... they were sold in the US until 1998. There's a fairly rich young dude (mid-20s) around here with a silver R34 and always has a yelow Ferrari parked in the driveway... he lives in a townhouse, car payments lol?

they are not illegal but can be easily tuned up to the point where they are not considered street legal.
