A significant amount of things would need to be changed to put any k20 head on your k24 block. Obviously the K24a2 head is the power making head. But you would have to change out your pistons for TSX ones. Then get a civic SI wiring harness, a tuneable ECU, and Hondata.

All in all you are probably looking at $1,500-$2,000.

Okay thanks. Did you mean k20a2? And what kind Of hp gains would I get? Would I need tsx cams also or could I use the stock ones?

Yeah I mean k20a2, but the k24a2 head is almost the same. You need the different pistons because the Accord pistons would hit the valves

I assume whatever head you get would come with the cams from it, but if not yes you would need either the k24a2 or k20a2 cams.

As far as power I'd expect it to be 200hp or so. Same as a stock k24a2 because it would essentially be one.

Also if your car is an automatic you can pretty much forget it because no engine management system will work with an auto.

Okay thanks man. The accord specs say it is at 190hp stock so I don't think a 10hp gain would be worth all that trouble.

Yeah that amount of money would probably be better spent on a turbo kit.
