Making it Fast
LMAO @ 00accord ....... nice modding! I give you about another day or so before you start abusing that little bit of power!
To the OP: The F23 engine is very well built. The H22 or 23 heads flow more air making them more powerful, but your current engine can take those heads (look up G23 build). The cast iron sleeves of the F series make them better for boost. The most economical and effective way for you to make your car powerful is to turbo it. Also, there's always nitrous.
Do you have an auto or manual tranny? Please put year/doors/engine/tranny info in your signature and include it on your posts. Thanks!

H22 or boost your F23 either way you're going to bespending alot of money to boost it to 300Hp.from my research...i'd say either sell it & get AV6 and boost that or if you don't mind spending cash like that then go ahead and boost your stock.
I think he's past the 300 HP #. Turbo at 8.5 psi will get you about 200-220 HP at the wheels which is about 240-250 at the engine. Right now, I'd say that you should only push 6-7 psi which should still get you 180 at the wheels and make it do around 6.8 seconds to 60 ..... maybe even a little better.
Boo him about being 17. Everyone needs a little discipline. I'm only 19. I just don't get why you would want to swap in a F20B and drop displacement. Kind of an oxy moron for wanting more torque :P Maybe swap in a B16 while were at it? Either drop some serious cash or spray and play. You're only 17, you're still figuring out how to actually drive the car and not just push peddles and steer, and I mean that with best intentions. At that age I probably would just go with spray and use it to show off to friends. I don't think I'd start out boosting, wait till you know more about engines before that.
age is not a limitation if you work and know what your doing... in fact, it means you have less responsabilities and can take care of your car a bit more... so with that said, just remember i boosted my F23 @ 18 years, and i did all teh work alone w/ the not-so-constant-help of one of my pals... so, yeah, boost your engine @ 7psi...and have fun.... first feel the 200sh HP and then, when you get bored of them, (and save more $$$) mod anything else you like to make it faster... that's it!
HPJ: getting a V6 and then making it turbo is nowhere cheap, nor a good idea on those crappy trannies...
