hey i bought an engine with 20,000 miles for my 98 ex my motor blew from the old owner. I bought a JDM motor my car is a ex 5 spd. I bought a engine from an automatic thats all I could find please help what should I do to the new engine

 

depending on how many miles are on it I'd replace the timing belt/water pump/seals, put a little bit of oil into the cylinders and let it sit for a few days to make sure that if there is any rust it gets taken care of....

 

u can always swap the transimission with ur manual transmission
