Default a need for speed

Alright guys you can see my car in my sig I think, im new here but have been reading a lot. My car is decent is speed but kinda slow, its a 5 speed also, I forgot to put that. Anyway is there anyway I could make a short ram intake? for like $30? im on a really extremely tight budget and just want gains in acceleration and power

Well i took measurements and bought PVC pipe accordingly and then took a vacuum motor and hooked it up to an elbow on the pipe and ran it to a switch got the stuff at home depot
