I changed the oil pump and let the car warm up . the oil pressure still dropped ,the engines oil light turned on and the engine started making a "knocking " sound.

Please tell me you also changed the oil or at the very least added a quart. I really doubt the pump was at fault.

I did change the oil and added 5 quarts. I dont have any idea what else it could be?

Take off the Vtec solenoid and see if its clogged or anything. The knocking doesn't sound too good...spun bearing.

I have changed the v-tec solenoid. So do you think i should just replace the engine completely?
