Polished Valve Cover?

Default Polished Valve Cover?

Hey Everyone! Does any1 know whats needed and How I can polish my OEM valve cover to a nice look @ yourself finish?

High temp paint is typically the most common route. You could always try to remove it and strip the paint so it's just the shiny metal color... Or just buy one

Good aircraft stripper for the old paint to start. The surface underneath should be relatively smooth. Maybe start out with wet 600 grit and work up to 2000. Then use a good aluminum polish to bring the shine out. The key to something like this is patience though...dont rush through any grit of the sanding process or you will have left over scratches that will annoy you to death!
