Rebuilding B7XA Tranny
Hey folks,
Just got my accord back from the tranny shop after it failed on me on the way to work lol. gears dont engage until about 1700 rpm or so, scanned the codes and got P0740 (torque converter lock-up), and P1739. they said some orings, and seals, and possibly the the torque converter are shot. so now i got the accord in the garage waiting for me to take it apart. changed my timing belt at 140,000 miles. im at 153,254 right now, forgot to add that to my signature lol. So i've been looking around on the net to see what seals and stuff i need. i would really appreciate if someone could just type out a list real quick of parts to buy. i got all the tools, and the procedure, but the procedure seems like its lacking info. just registered, so i will be adding more info to my account, as well as take periodic photos of my work for the forums benefit

update time!
ok, so here are some things i bought for the rebuild
first i got the tranny overhaul kit for my model, then the tranny filter, and the tc control valve kit. absolutely necessary if you want to have a long lasting tranny, since the stock tc control valve is usually the culprit in burned torque converters.

also i bought the valve body dowel pin kit, its also a necessary upgrade to the valve body, the stock ones dont have rubber o-rings, and allow oil to leak through causing damage to other components.

update time! #3
so i started taking her apart, took off the battery, battery tray, and battery tray bracket. then removed the air intake assembly, after that i tackled the starter , then this part was a little time consuming for some reason, but i finally was able to remove the wire harness cover assembly and push it back towards the car to make room for the tranny. i marked most of the connections with a sharpie, and bagged the bolts and marked the bags lol. trying not to have any FOD's lol. but now comes the improvisations...the repair procedure calls out for an engine hanger, problem is it's 500$ lol, so i got a piece of raw stock aluminum bar from work and am trying to figure out a way to fixture this so it'll work. ran into an issue, cant find the thread size call out or bolt size for the engine hanger mounts (last pic)
