Turbo or spray is your best option anyway

It's either one of the two. Turbo or spray. I'm still debating the same topic, whether I should spray now on my auto or just wait till I get a manual in the future and turbo that. Spray has limits, turbos are pretty much limitless.

Find some used K20 rods and pistons.

If I were you dude, I wouldn't do any serious motor work unless I had the money to do a turbo. Because you can spend loads of money on internal work but you won't get that much more power than you would if you had a turbo. Either save up for turbo or just get a new car that comes fast already. Or a car that comes with a factory turbo.
