Default Swap, or Turbo?

in my accord EX is a nice little 2.2L sohc non vtec (f22b2) now im an aprentice mechanic and was looking at a f231a1.... is there a manual transmission that fits on that engine>? and do you think there are engine swap kits? or should i head to my local machine shop and try and make something? and if thats the case it would prolly just be easier to boost my current engine no? but that brings me to if im gunna boost it, is there a manual tanny that will bolt onto the f22b2 or was that angine JUST for autos?
Any words of wisdom are much apreciated

Personally i would just swap in an H22. its pretty straight forward, makes lots of power, and has a big aftermarket. i would if i had the money :/. anyway search the forum for it and try googling h22 swap. theres a lot of info out there to help you. cheers

sigh lol, but everyone has an H22.... i like the f-series heads, because they have extreemly good flow characteristics. The power side of things i dont think there is that much of a difference. And are there any engines that would be an easy swap with larger displacement than 2.2L ?? what about a V6 swap? hmmmm

The V6(c27a) only comes in Auto, and has absolutely no aftermarket support.

Well the 2dr/4dr chassis are the same, its that the V6 version is either a little bit longer or a little bit wider I can never remember.

different front suspension, and rear suspension.... prolly a lotta other stuff too :P i know that there are some civic v6 swaps popping up. i think im just gunna try a manual trannsmission that can bolt onto the F22B2 block.
