Default Throttle Body Spacer ?

i heard this talk about a throttle body spacer...what does that do for my car...ANYTHING ?
.i have a 91 accord

Short answer: It wont do anything

Long answer: It wont do anything at all (see its longer )

ok cause i heard from people its a way to get a fake turbo sound and i didnt know if it was true..lol
but if were up to me id just turbo the car instead of being fake and foney..haha

Often the spacer is put there for heat insulation for the throttle body. But thats kinda bogus because the air doesnt spend enough time IN the throttlebody to pick up hardly any heat to begin with.

Ive never heard the fake turbo stuff. Get a CAI, that makes some noise & its not totally useless. If the TB spacer is whistling, that just means the airflow isnt smooth & clean.

TB spacer is good for wet nitrous injection so you don't have to drill an OEM engine part or your nice shiny intake.
