Default Tranny Panties

How's it goin guys? I am a fan of the "fix what you have and make it the sh*t" theory, so i plan on doing so with my f22b1. The first thing I plan on applying said theory to, is my tranny. I blew out my third gear and have a few grinds here and there between shifts, and shifting from 2nd to 4th is starting to get on my nerves. I plan on pulling it, rebuilding it, and putting in whatever kind of performance parts I can. The only problem is that I can't find information on how to go about this anywhere. It would beniceif someone could help me out with how to go about doing all this and what parts I will need (preferably with a note on what performance parts I should get, as well). Thanks for any advice!

Better off taking it to a transmission shop.

Transmission work is very "in depth" and would be impossible to explain over this forum

x2 on what everyone says.
if it were an automatic transmission i would say you would have to take it to a shop, but if you have very high mechanical skills a manual transmission rebuild shouldn't be THAT hard. But buy a service manual, and read up on the procedure for rebuilding a transmission, then decide if you're up to it or not.
dont buy the skinny manual you can get at autozone, buy the phone book sized manual.

While you have it out, throw on a light flywheel and stage 1 or 2 clutch.
