V6 oil usage problem?
Recently bought 2010 accord coupe V6. Not long after 1st oil change noticed that oil was barely covering tip of dipstick. I added a quart and brought it up to mid-stick measure. Searching the internet I find dozens of articles that describe a oil consumption problem with Honda V6 engines - some blaming PC valve, some blaming defective rings or rings that arbitrarily line up the slots thus blowing oil. Is there a thread about this or does anyone know more of the problem or fix? Does heavier wt oil help?
