RE: V6 tranny swap

it is very expensive to do a V6 swap to an I4 car since you will just about have to change EVERYTHING including the instrument cluster

its not as bad as he makes it out to be... personaly though... if u could find a front clip off of a V6 the full front u would be basicly set... then u could just swap everything and see were each part came from

RE: V6 tranny swap

lets see...this is just what comes to mind

Instrument cluster
AC lines
radiator and cooling fans
Motor mounts(larger capacity)
Drive shafts
Transmission
Engine
ECU
Brakes and ABS module lines (front) and disks if they are drums in back
Suspension (you need heftier springs as V6 is 200lbs heavier)
Wheels (5 lug versus 4)
engine accessories (alt PS pump AC compressor)

Might need a new steering rack as well depending upon if the I4 one is in the way or not
