i have a honda accord 2002 se. i just got it andthere are some things i wanna know first is the engine really a F23A4? and if so what performance parts are compatible with it? The car is completely stock. Thanks for the help in advance.

And as far as performance parts that fit your car, pretty much anything that fits on your year and model accord. Parts are custom made to fit specific years and engines, so usually on a site, you'll put in your make and model and year/engine type. Look at http://www.andysautosport.com/ for example.

 

6th generation accord is 1998-2002

 

If your engine is an F23A4, the valve cover will say ULEV VTEC on top of it in big letters. If you want to be 100% sure, the engine code is stamped on the engine to the left of the exhaust manifold (front of engine, beneath a radiator hose - easy to see by simply opening the hood.)
