I was confused the other way; I thought you had the TSX. TSX manual is 6-speed.

YES
Maybe grab the ECU from the donor TSX where you get the head & intake manifold?

You'd need the pistons and rods too. I'd run Hondata personally. But it wont work with the Accord ECU. You'd need RSX-S or Civic SI wiring harness and ECU.

New idea

ok so I saw the price of a new head, so i think i gave up on that idea. But, it has come to my attention that one of my friends has a spare hx35 turbo just sitting around, and he makes intake and exaust manifolds for a living. He said he'd install it and make all the piping for $500 + parts at cost. So that is actually in my price range. Any thoughts on this idea, its a small turbo from a dodge ram turbo diesel if i'm not mistaken.

The best answer for that question would come from the Skunk People..Ask Them!

Engine management is where you will run into your biggest problem. There is really only 2 choices:

Buy RSX-S/Civic Si wiring harness and ECU and run hondata($1,500+).
AEM EMS($1000+)

Frugal Rhombus 07-21-2009 08:08 AM

Are those 2 different choices, or would I have to drop $2500+?

Nvm, I looked that up myself.
