Default 01 accord dx pulsing scraping sound from passenger wheel area. WITH VIDEO! fix ASAP!

Not sure what this scraping sound is in the wheel well area. it's not the brakes or the wheel bearing. Sounds like transmission or axle area. Scraping sound pulses with axle rotation but if i stop the axle in the right place the sounds stays 'on' which is weird (you'll hear it at the very end of the vid)
listen close and you'll hear the scraping as it turns.
I'm sure other people have had this problem before me.

Thanks for any info!

trans fluid looks great by the way

Is this manual or auto? A disengaged clutch might make a sound like that. Was someone holding clutch open?

Or something driven by engine is rubbing, perhaps flywheel or something in differential or trans. Check trans fluid.

good luck

trans fluid looked good, clean nice color,
it's an automatic

obviously sound is tied to rotating the axle,
i guess i'm going to have to yank it out and hope for the best.

welp, replaced the cv axle and that's not it.
thinking a bearing inside the transmission at this point.

sucks because it only has 120k miles on the tranny, well taken care of w/aftermarket cooler.
