02 accord drl's
ok i've have tried to search but didnt see my problems. so heres what im having problems with, my drls dont work and only my left hi beam works. i switched bulbs and both are working, just not getting power to the right hi beam. i tried switching the hi beam relays and still nothing, not sure what to check next.

Unplug the right high beam (passenger side?) that is not working. Use a volt meter to test for voltage on the red/orn wire to ground when the high beams are turned on.
Then test for continuity to ground on the orn/wht wire.

This is likely a problem with the DRL control unit. The voltage side of the circuit is supplied by the DRL unit.
A new control unit is expensive. On older DRL control units, they had the same solder problem as the main fuel relay. You could repair cracked solder joints and fix the problem. If you know how to solder, it may be worth a shot.

i was really hoping that wasn't the problem, but uhwell. i bypassed it for now to get the hibeams working to pass saftym and will look into fixing the DRL control unit. so where is the DRL control unit located? and whats it look like?

It will be under the driver's side of the dash, see picture for location.
It will look like the main fuel relay, but bigger. you may be able to pull out the board from the plastic housing like the MFR in this video.

Also, can't remember the gernerations, I think there is a "fix" for the DRL on some of these. Much like the main relay fix PA posted. Pretty sure redbull-1 posted a link to it sometime in the past.
