02 Accord, Heater fan only works on High?
Hi, Yesterday my Heater fan only worked on high and it also didn't seem to change between outside air and inside air, Tonite it started to work again on all levels and seemed to switch between inside and outside air, Is there some sort of relay or fuse for this? Any ideas on what to check and where? Thanks
Probably a faulty blower motor resistor. When the heater fan switch is in position 4, the entire resistor is bypassed and the blower motor runs at the highest speed. At lower heater fan switch positions, the ground for the blower motor goes through segments of the resistor.
The blower resistor is attached to the left-underside of the blower motor assembly (blower under passenger side dash).
To replace it, you disconnect electrical connector and then unscrew two phillips screws.
At Honda dealer sites, it is under the heater blower section. Accords with manual A/C uses a blower motor resistor, whereas Accords with Climate Control (semi and fully auto) uses a blower motor transistor. Sounds like your Accord is manual A/C, so it would use the blower moor resistor.
There are aftermarket units available that you can check for at your local parts stores.

Climate control has an "Auto" button, see image.
Manual A/C does not have that button. That is just one of the things.
That looks to be the correct Honda part number for the blower motor resistor.

Yeah I have the filters, I just need to do it, My Shop is filled with winter projects so Ill have to change the honda filters in the spring as it is pretty cold out right now. Do you have a good write up on the steps to change them?
