06 Rear Door not power locking/unlocking.
2006 4dr EXL, rear driver side door.
-Does not lock or unlock with the fob remotes.
-Does not lock or unlock with the power lock switch.
-The lock functions properly when manually lifted or pressed.
-The child lock switch is not the problem.
-When manually locked, and when locking twice with the remote, the horn will sound properly.
-When manually unlocked, and when locking twice with the remote, the horn will not sound as it knows that door didn't lock.
-Fuse setup has one fuse for all doors, so that's not the problem.
-Last night I replaced the door actuator with a genuine Honda part (quite an easy task) but that did not solve the problem.
-The wiring clips inside the door panel does not seem to be a problem.
Any thoughts as to where to look next?
I do not know how to bench test the actuators.
I'm thinking of installing the old actuator on the front door (same part #) just to test if the old actuator is faulty. If it is faulty, then I'd figure that the new part I installed is also faulty.
