06 trade for 07 Accord - UNREAL UPDATE
I'm trading in my 06/ Accord EX Sedan and getting the 07 version. Dealership is taking it back and we're only paying $150 (difference in MSRP). Are there ANY differences or is this a complete carry-over. Tell me I get something, other than a much higher resale value for my $150!!!
Thanks

RE: 2006 to 2007 Accord - Differences?
i didnt think 07 was out yet.
As for your $150 , I dont think youll get something for nothing. They are not going to
give you a brand new car for only $150 difference unless they are goign to make somehow. (they are not
your friends , they are out to make money thats all they are douing)
PS check what model they r giving you

I'm not dumb.. They're making the trade because they scratched the car, prior to it's pick-up, which requires re-painting sections of it. They said they'd trade it up for the difference in MSRP. They are not my friends, but they're not stupid enough to try to screw me. Plus, I got this offer (on their part) in writing from the dealership's GM. Like I said, I'm not dumb. And don't worry, I'll get the same trim level (got that in writing too).

did you pay sticker price for the car? where did they pull the msrp #'s from? I guess either way it's not a bad deal but personally I'd say for all the trouble and running around that you had to do they can eat the fricken $150.00... It's like "Hello here's your nice new 2006 accord with a big ol' scratch in the hood, call us 500 times, get a few quotes lets work this out. Oh what? you would like it fixed and not have to pay for it? okay great just drive all the way back over here and waste more of your time because we messed up. Then you can pay us $150.00 more on top of all the time you've wasted and we'll give you a car that is one year newer." I'd say screw you. If that's what you want then fine, give me a 2006 without a scratch in the hood.... $150.00 to trade up is a good deal under normal circumstances but how many hours have you wasted fixing their issue?

I should probably clarify a bit.... the fact that they are willing to do something for you and not telling you off says very good things about the dealership. They could just shrug their shoulders and say oh well but at least they came up with some solutions.... I'd just try to make them eat the $150.00 and tell them that if they would do that you'd be extatic and then in the future I'd buy from them again...

According to Wikipedia some of the LED's are different (brighter), but other than that, nothing else. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_A...0.93present.29

Got a smoking deal on the car... $19,300 (with delivery) for an EX Sedan. Thats pretty good. So, I am going to have no problem paying the man his $150 dollars, since that would be reasonable. I'll get a scratch-free car and a higher resale value when I decide to sell.
And it seems, brighter LED tail-lights...
