Default '07 3.0 Alt

Hey,
I have a 2007 accord EX with the 3.0L. Changing the alternator, I found the 10MM bolt overtightened causing the threads to be galled/extracted when I removed the bolt from the lower mount which is aluminum of course. Theres not a whole lotta room to do much of any repair. How do i repair this ?

I'm trying to understand which bolt you're referring to.

On the V6, there are two mounting bolts, with the smaller size mounting bolt at the top. Are you referring to the top bolt like this image?

Are the threads messed up on the 10mm bolt, or the aluminum mount? Not as familiar with the V6 setup, so is the aluminum mount removable?

If you're referring to the top mounting bolt like in the image I previously posted, it is mounted onto an alternator stay which can be replaced.

Yeah, sorry. The bolt is fine, the threads on the mount which is alumuminum is galled (threads are stretched).

The lower mount is the issue. The threads are stretched, it was stiff the entire the length of the thread while removing it. A new bolt will not thread into the mount. How can I repair this?

If it will not work with the same bolt or new one just retap 1.50 and install with a m10 1.50

That lower mount. How do I access that? There's not much room for even a tap down there low in the compartment. Is there a drawing of that bracket/mount assy and how it attaches to the block? Hopefully, I won't have to remove that bracket assy from the engine in order to fit that with something that can support the tension. At this point I'm going to try to clean up the threads with an M10x1.25 tap. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
