1990 Accord speedo issue
Hello I need some help. I have a 1990 Honda Accord that the speedo quit working. It has a brand new speed sensor from Honda, actually was still under warranty and they replaced it last week but the guy said he thinks its the cluster. Im having trouble locating a cluster. Will an auto cluster out of the same year of car work? I need something asap and cant find anything but auto ones ver few manuals. If you can help me out or know where a cluster to help me I would greatly appreciate it. This is my work car and need to get the speedo working because I dont need no speeding tickets because of this.

The clusters are different, because an automatic cluster shows P/R/N/D3/....
The speedometer itself should be the same between the clusters, so you should be able to take apart the 'new' cluster and just swap that speedometer into your cluster. Be careful when taking apart the clusters, because the gauge needles are delicate.
My odometer is part of my speedometer, and I didn't want a discrepancy in the car's mileage. I mailed my speedometer to a repair shop I found online and they repaired my speedometer.

I did a google search for speedometer repair and found a bunch of shops.
I called the closest one and described my speedometer problem (stuck at 19 mph) and asked if they could fix it. They knew about the problem and knew how to fix it. It was expensive (~$100), but it hasn't given me a problem since.
I would look at honda parts sites like majestic honda and compare the part number for the speedometer for a MT vs an automatic. You can call a dealership and ask them if the part numbers match.

I think a new one was about the same price as the repair. The dealership wouldn't roll the mileage, so I opted for the repair.
Look at places like honda parts deals or majestic, because the price may be different for your accord.

Just want to replace the cluster but everything on ebay is for auto transmission and wondering I know the difference between the two clusters but all I care about is does the job and the speedo and odometer work, maybe the temp gauge as well
