Default 1990 Honda Accord EX - Lost chip

Hello, I recently lost the chip that is needed to start the car. You put the thing in and then put the key in to start it. I don't know what it is called, I don't even know if this is something that comes with all accords of this year. If you know what I am talking about, how can I get a replacement? And if I can just get rid of the whole "chip security" thing, how do I do that?

Never heard of such a thing as a factory item. I bet it's an aftermarket security system so you hope someone around here happens to have the same type of system...

I'm pretty sure Accords didn't start having immobilizers until 1998. And it's not a separate "chip". Yes there's a chip, but it's embedded in the plastic part of your key.

Aftermarket stuff.

Unfortunately, with all the different aftermarket things, and different ways of wiring them in, it's really hard to deal with that over the internet. Unless one of us happens to have exactly the same unit.
