How do you get the back seat out of a 91 2 door accord?

 

Does the seat fold down?

First, you pull up on the bottom cushion where the two cushions meet, it should put out.

Second, you'll see some 10mm bolts on the bottom of the side cushions (the ones next to the fold down seat), remove those and pull up on them.

Third, remove the 12/14mm bolts securing the hinges to the body and remove.

 

It does fold down but i just need the bottom cushion out right now. I tired pushing and pulling up and down and i just cant get that cushion up. But i just want to make sure, i can get to the fuel pump by pulling the seat out right?

 

Most likely, lift the front to undo 2 clips that would be under your outside thigh if you were sitting on either side, then pull it out. there are 2 hooks that go into the seat back. Sometimes cars have a screw on either side going into the vertical kickplate where your calf is sitting there.

 

About 1/2 way across the bottom cushion, in the back; push open between the upper and lower cushions and you'll find a 10mm bolt holding a strap.

THEN you can fold the lower cushion foward and unhook the two hooks on the front of the lower cushion

But beyond that, it's not where the fuel pump is.
