my odometer and trip stopped working. is there any way i can fix this?

yeaah i already tried doing that and it didnt make a difference. I'm just afraid that ill never be able to sell the car if the odometer doesnt work. I also cant calculate my gas mileage.>:0

 

Since it is mechanical and it doesn't work, you could get a replacement speedo head. Check with your state DMV vehicle codes regarding odometer mileage changes, some require a sticker on the door jamb to show when the repair was done and at what previous mileage, etc.

 

Is the Speedo working.....if so try the key re-set again, also reset the trip a few times....ng else.

I do not think the ODO not working would prevent you from selling the car.

It is almost 20 years old, anyone buying it knows it has both a lot of mile and some problems.

I would have no problem buying it personally.

 

What state do you live in?

 

everything works except the odometer/trip. the car only has 93k so i really wanna get it fixed. and i live in colorado. would it be hard to replace the odo/trip?

 

If you lived nearby in California, I would have given you my old speedo head that I still have (I use to own a 95).
