Question 1998 Accord EX 4cyl. Dashboard lights!!!!

New battery & alternator < 1 y.o. (rebuilt). All my lights on my dash light up like Christmas. there was some corrosion on the terminals, I brushed/cleaned them off. When the lights flash my radio loses it's station and my heat goes low/high intermittently.

Default lights

I was wondering if anyone had a clue as to what might cause this? I start my car 20 min before I leave in the morning and almost as soon as I start it this happens but the radio will play and the heat will work, until it "glitches" again. I think it's something electrical but wanted to rule out the alternator and battery. I have to get it fixed but don't want to get hosed for something that might not be the problem...

I think Angelo is teasing about this area being just for "welcome & introduction" posts.

I'll move this over to General Tech.

Which lights on the dash are we talking about (oil, brake, charge, ect)? Do they come and off? I'm wondering if you have an ing switch going out.

I had. The problem fixed it was the voltage regulator on my alternator. Thanks for the help anyway.
